9 Lazy Cleaning Hacks that Keep your Bathroom Sparkling Clean

Bathroom is often one of the room that we are most reluctant to clean. There are always too many stains that have accumulate over the years that makes it too much effort to clean.

For the lazy people like us, below are a couple of cleaning hacks that do not take much effort to do to keep our bathroom clean.

Toilet bowl cleaning

Steps:

  1. Put 1:1 ratio of baking soda and vinegar to a spray bottle
  2. Spray at stubborn stains around the toilet bowl and leave for 30 minutes before cleaning

Toilet bowl tank maintenance 

Steps:

  1. Pour vinegar into the tank to kill germs and remove stains
  2. Put a couple of toilet cleaner blocks to keep the toilet bowl refreshed

Shower head cleaning 

Steps:

  1. Pour appropriate amount of vinegar into a plastic bag and tighten to shower head
  2. Soak overnight before removing plastic bag to remove clog

Bathroom stainless steel faucets or taps

Steps:

  1. Soak kitchen towels with solution made of vinegar and baking soda
  2. Wrap towels around taps and leave on for 1 hour
  3. Rinse off with water to remove hard water stains

Basin or bathtub cleaning

Steps:

  1. Cut a lemon in half and coat generously with coarse salt
  2. Scrub the basin around with the lemon to remove stubborn stains

 Prevent mirror from fogging 

Steps:

  1. Spread soup around the mirror before cleaning off with a dry cloth

Cleaning ceramic tiles

Steps:

  1. Squeeze some toothpaste on a toothbrush and scrub around tiles that are dirty
  2. Rinse off toothpaste with water

Prevent rusting of metal bottles

  1. Lay a coat of clear nail polish at the base of metal bottles to prevent rust after long contact with water

Clear up mildew smell

Steps:

  1. Pour vinegar generously on affected tiles and wait for 5 minutes
  2. Make a mix with baking soda and water
  3. Pour the mix on the tiles and wait for 30 minutes before rinsing off
